Letter to Editor from J. Philip Gallagher in Support of Will Duff
Mr. Gallagher wants people to vote for Will Duff continue to fight to see that to see that "we taxpayers get a fair shake from Hartford."

NEWTOWN, CT — The following Letter to the Editor was written by J. Philip Gallagher, Bethel, Connecticut.
To the Editor:
It is vitally important to me as a Bethel resident that Will Duff be reelected to represent me in Hartford and continue to fight to see that Bethel receives back a fair share of the income and sales taxes that are collected from Bethel Taxpayers by the State of Connecticut. Will's opponent Mr. Raghib will not be able to do this because as a Democrat he will be beholden to the big city Democrat bosses who already spend two thirds of Bethel's Sate tax receipts elsewhere!

As my State Representative, Will Duff has been fighting to lower taxes and repeal the State mandates that have driven jobs and residents out of the State Connecticut. A look at the resume of Will Duff's opponent indicates that he would bring to Hartford the same pro tax and anti-business mentality that has driven companies like General Electric to other states.
As a former Bethel Selectman and Board of Education member, Will Duff is uniquely qualified to represent the interests of local government in Bethel, Danbury, Redding, and Newtown and to see that we taxpayers get a fair shake from Hartford.
