LobsterFest Returns to Sandy Hook in June

The two-day crustacean celebration is one of the company's — if not the region's— oldest-running fundraisers.

NEWTOWN, CT — Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue has announced that LobsterFest is returning for its 32nd year.

The two-day crustacean celebration is one of the company's — if not the region's— oldest-running fundraisers.

The event will be held at the 18-20 Riverside Road station on Friday and Saturday, June 7-8, with dinner being served 5 to 9 p.m Friday, and 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday.

Tickets for a full steak or lobster dinner, with sides of potato salad, chowder, corn on the cob, a dinner roll, and a soft drink, will be $28 in advance and $30 at the door. Burger or hot dog meals will be $8 each.

Advanced tickets are not yet on sale, but will be soon, according to the company's social media.

The event will feature live music, and there will also be raw and full bars both evenings.
