Local Firefighters' Toy and Food Drive in Newtown to Help Area Children

The Raging Knights Firefighter MC Battalion 4 will be hosting their 3rd Annual Toy Food and Clothing Drive on Sunday December 14 at McGuires Ale House in Newtown. The drive will be benefitting 9 families throughout the Regional YMCA of Western CT.

This is our third year and will be our most demanding. We have 24 children in need of some holiday cheer with ages ranging from newborn to 16. Cost for the event is $10.00 which includes food. With a donation of a new unwrapped toy or a gift card, McGuire’s is providing a beverage on the house. Gift cards are welcome in any amount and a Visa, WalMart or Target gift card would surely help us provide for our families.

Come on down to McGuire’s and watch the games with CT’s best Firefighter MC. The party starts at 1 p.m., and as always, kids are welcome. Children 13 and under are free. Santa will also be making an appearance.
