Man Robbed Of Necklace By 2 In Newtown: Police
The incident was reported last week, according to Newtown police.
NEWTOWN, CT — A man was reported to Newtown police that he was robbed of a necklace last week on South Main Street, and authorities are asking for the public's help in finding the suspected thieves.
The incident occurred at about 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, as the man was walking near Ram's Pasture.
Two suspects, one described as a "heavy set white man" and the other simply described as a woman, pulled up in a "darker colored SUV with possible out of state license plates" and approached the victim.

"After a brief conversation they removed his necklace, returned to their vehicle and left the area," Newtown police wrote on Facebook (see below). He was not injured in the encounter."
