Mindy Kovack, 30, of Sandy Hook

Kovack passed away March 13. She worked in the tax offices of Monroe and Newtown.

Mindy Sue Kovack, age 30 of Sandy Hook, died peacefully on Sunday, March 13, 2015 with her family by her side.

Mindy was born in Danbury and was raised in Newtown. She was the daughter of Scott and Lynn Kovack of Newtown and was the beloved mother of her three girls, Briana, Lexi, and Hannah. Mindy graduated from Newtown High School and went on to attend SCSU.

She worked for the Towns of Newtown and Monroe in the tax office for many years. Mindy cherished every moment spent with her three beautiful daughters and lived life to the fullest. Besides her parents and loving girls, Mindy is survived by her beloved brother Billy and his girlfriend Sara, grandparents Rosemary and Orvis Jones and William and Be Kovack, and many Uncles, Aunts, and cousins, along with her long-time boyfriend and father of their children, Justin, who she loved very much.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown Monday March 21 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Kovack Children c/o Lynn Kovack, 6 Apple Blossom Lane, Newtown, CT 06470. Kovack strong.
