National Life Group Agency of Sandy Hook Promotes Community Kindness at Newtown Arts Festival

Participants at the Newtown Arts Festival will be invited to create bells at the National Life Group booth.

National Life Group’s Do Good Tour is headed to Connecticut over the weekend to promote kindness and community at the Newtown Arts Festival.

The Do Good Tour was launched earlier this year to recognize the work of local heroes and community volunteers.

“Newtown is our hometown,” said Tim Haas of True North Financial Solutions, a National Life Group Agency in Sandy Hook. “Celebrating the good that happens here is important to us. We hope folks stop by our tent to help.”

National Life Group is partnering with Ben’s Bells at the arts festival. The mission of Ben’s Bells is “to inspire, educate and motivate people to realize the impact of intentional kindness, and to empower individuals to act according to that awareness, thereby strengthening ourselves, our relationships and our communities.”

Participants at the Newtown Arts Festival will be invited to create bells at the National Life Group booth, which will then be hung randomly around the community. They’re intended as reminders to practice intentional kindness.

The goals of Ben’s Bells meshes with the corporate values of National Life Group, which are to Do good. Be good. Make good.

The Do Good Tour will make additional stops in coming weeks to recognize more good that is being done in communities the company serves.
