New Details Emerge on Staged Armed Robbery, Fire at Newtown Liquor Store: Report
Scott Young, 39, is accused of staging an armed robbery at his own liquor store before setting the establishment ablaze.

NEWTOWN, CT — After allegedly setting his own liquor store ablaze, Rooster Wine and Liquors Owner Scott Young told police that anti-Semitic attackers were responsible for the incident, reports the News Times.
Young, 39, of Southington cited the star of David tattoo on his arm as a possible reason for the purported suspects to commit the crime. Police also say that detectives found a number of bottles of expensive product in the trunk of Young's car, as well as an empty can of spray paint.
Young was arrested last week on multiple charges after police charged him with staging an armed robbery at his own liquor store and and setting it ablaze. Police found anti-Semitic graffitti spray painted on the rear door of the building.
