New Reporter/Fill-In Anchor Joins WFSB-TV News Team

Marcy Jones is a Connecticut native who has worked for stations in Arizona and Iowa, among others.

CONNECTICUT — Hartford-based WFSB-TV has added a new reporter and fill-in anchor to its popular news team.

Marcy Jones, a Connecticut native, joined the station this fall following a recent stint with Fox10 Phoenix.

"Help me welcome @marcy_jonestv to @WFSBnews!" wrote WFSB anchor Mark Zinni on Twitter. "You'll be seeing her all the time on Channel 3 and we are thrilled to have her on our team."

In addition to the Phoenix station, Jones, a University of Arizona graduate, has also worked at KGAN-TV in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and was an associate producer at CBS News, according to her LinkedIn profile.

At the Eye, Jones worked on The Early Show and CBS This Morning, and in addition to launching a weekly segment on trends, she also produced the "Long Story Short" segment for Gayle King.
