New York Man Accused Of Larceny, Forgery In Newtown, Cops Say

NEWTOWN, CT — A 46-year-old Brewster, New York, man was arrested on a warrant by Newtown police this week on charges of first-degree larceny and second-degree forgery, according to authorities.

Keith Lynch surrendered to police and was arrested Wednesday morning, but details of the case have not been disclosed.

First-degree larceny typically involves the theft of money, property, services, a motor vehicle or other items in excess of $20,000, but it also could relate to a fraud case of a lesser amount.

Lynch was released on a promise to appear in Danbury Superior Court on June 30.
