Newtown Board of Ed. Meeting to Discuss Enrollment
Superintendent Erardi is expected to present a study on the future of the district.

Newtown Superintendent of Schools Joseph Erardi is expected to present an enrollment study at tonight’s Board of Education meeting.
At a community forum held in May, Erardi told those in attendance that the district would consider closing a school and redistricting students as a result.
Of the seven school buildings in the district, Erardi said only the High School and the new Sandy Hook School - scheduled to open for the 2016-17 school year on its old site- are safe from being closed.
