Newtown Brewery To Host Fundraiser With Live Music, Auctions

NEWTOWN, CT — A local nonprofit focused on spreading kindness will host a community fundraiser this spring in Newtown.

Kind Works will hold its annual Celebration of Kind Works event on Thursday, May 21, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Reverie Brewing Company.

The evening will include live music, food and drinks, and both live and silent auctions featuring items like the organization's signature mosaic benches.

The event is the nonprofit's largest annual fundraiser, supporting programs centered on kindness education, community art projects, youth initiatives and volunteer efforts across the region.

Organizers said the event is designed to bring the community together while raising funds to expand programs that promote connection and social-emotional skills in schools, workplaces and neighborhoods.

A pop-up "Shop KIND" store will also be available, offering merchandise that supports the organization's mission.

Early bird ticket pricing is available through April 15, and children can attend for free when accompanied by an adult.
