NEWTOWN, CT - The calendar has turned to March, and in north central Connecticut, signs of spring are everywhere - no snow on the ground, temperatures in the 40s and 50s, kids tossing a baseball around in the park.
Another telltale indication of the imminent arrival of spring is the opening of ice cream shops around the region. With that in mind, the online sitewww.onlyinyourstate.com recently featured their list of the 11 best ice cream shops in the Nutmeg State.

“Their low fat sugar free menu will help you feel less guilty about ordering an extra scoop without having to lose out on great flavor,” Only In Your State opined.
