Newtown Cycling and Running Event to Benefit Dylan's Wings of Change
The event will be this weekend and will benefit a foundation set-up in honor of one of the Sandy Hook victims.
The first Newtown Wingathlon is planned for Saturday to raise money for Dylan’s Wings of Change, which was founded in honor of Sandy Hook victim Dylan Hockley, 6.
Dylan’s Wings of Change was founded to help children with autism and other related conditions achieve their full potential.
The event will be held on May 2 at Fairfield Hills in Newtown.

Events incldue a family 5k run/walk, and a duathlon with a 5k run, 24k cycle and 5k run.
There is no race day registration for the duathlon, but there is for the family 5k.
