Newtown Day 2018

Co-Hosted by the Chamber of Commerce of Newtown and Newtown Parks and Recreation.

The Chamber of Commerce of Newtown and Newtown Parks and Recreation announce Newtown Day 2018. Formerly known as the “Newtown Food Truck Festival,” the re-branded event will be held on Saturday, October 6th, 2018 at Fairfield Hills from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Newtown Day co-hosts Chamber of Commerce of Newtown Members and Newtown Parks and Recreation invite you to join them for this family-friendly event. Held on the beautiful grounds of Fairfield Hills, there will be plenty of food, fun, and festivities for "kids" of all ages to enjoy. Admission is $3 for adults, $1 for children 6 - 12, children under age 5 are free.

This fun event will feature 15+ food trucks and vendors, and family activities such as face painting, inflatable stations and more. Enjoy music from local performers. Rock Elite Music’s Grant Ossendryver will be the event’s Master of Ceremonies. Adults can enjoy the “Brew Garden” managed by Chilled ‘N Distilled featuring Down East Cider, Bad Sons’ Brews: Light Rider, Wayward Sons, Doobious IPA, Conn Pale Ale, and a red and a white wine. The “Brew Garden” will be serving from 12:00 p.m. until last call at 4:30 p.m.

Shuttle buses will be provided from the Newtown High School, and the Newtown Middle School to the Fairfield Hills Campus. Parking for the event has also been reserved at the Reed School and the Fairfield Hills Campus.
