The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

Local government simply can’t function without the effort of people who live here and volunteer their time to do this work. The people who come before our board are our neighbors. It is so important to always listen respectfully and have a fair process for making decisions.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

I have been serving on the ZBA since 2017. I consider it volunteer work for our community, similar to serving as a girl scout leader for the past 8 years, and or volunteering locally with our troop at events like the Duck Race or the NYFS Holiday Festival.

Accomplishments:

I truly believe that everyone who has come before the board in the time I have served has received a fair and respectful hearing of their request for a variance. I have been proud to serve alongside all the other volunteers on the ZBA.

Other issues:

I consider this to be a non-partisan position that serves our community with the highest integrity. It's not really something for which a campaign platform or agenda is appropriate.
