  • He teaches our Newtown Wrestlers teamwork, courage, strength and skill. He brought our 1-4 grade kids to the Western Championships. He teaches our kids to encourage each other in teamwork, all is an around super happy guy. The motto on the back of the T-shirts is: “Gold Medals aren’t really made of gold. They’re made of sweat, determination, and a hard-to-find alloy called guts.”

Why do you feel is this person an Everyday Hero?

  • To take our wrestlers from an early age and teach them teamwork, give them goals to obtain, skills for the future, and put that all into one, and see the smiles on their faces is a goal every parent and community member should obtain. He brings the team in as strangers to one another, and they come out as friends, out as one unit instead of separate entities.
