Newtown High Ranked Among Top 20 in CT: Report

Niche’s 2016 Best Public High Schools in Connecticut list has come out and once again Newtown High School is ranked among the best.

Academics, health and safety, teachers, extracurricular and sports are some of the things taken into consideration for the rankings. Ranking factors are a mix between statistical rigor and practical relevance.

Newtown received the following scores:

Health and safety: A+

Student culture and diversity: C+

Teachers: A

Resources and facilities: A

Extracurriculars and activities: A

Sports and fitness: A
