Newtown Kindness Host 2nd Annual 'Charlotte's Litter' Walk-a-Thon

Walk-a-thon will feature comfort and therapy dogs and raise funds for therapy/comfort dog programs

From Newtown Kindness:

Newtown Kindness will host its second annual Therapy/Comfort Dog Walk-a-thon to support therapy dog programs in educational and societal settings. Funds from the walk-a-thon will support Charlotte’s Litter’s ongoing efforts to advocate for therapy/comfort dogs in schools across Connecticut, training more therapy/comfort dogs on K9 First Responders Units and supporting their dispatch deployment costs, and continued partnership efforts with public and municipal services and local literacy programs. The walk-a-thon is free to register. Participants can register and donate here: http://www.eventbrite.com/e/charlottes-litter-therapycomfort-dog-walk-a-thon-registration-12859542237.
