Newtown Legislative Delegation to Host Town Hall Meeting

The delegation will inform residents about issues going on at the capitol.

State Senator Tony Hwang (28) and State Representatives Mitch Bolinsky (106), Dan Carter (2), & JP Sredzinski (112) are hosting a legislative town hall meeting to hear from Newtown constituents on state issues affecting them.

The town hall meeting will be held Wednesday February 4th from 6:30pm – 8:00pm at the C.H. Booth Library on 25 Main St in the Meeting Room.

The legislative session began on January 7th and the Newtown delegation wants to hear from the Newtown residents on what the priorities of the General Assembly should be during this session.

This year the state legislature will write the bi-annual state budget which currently has a projected deficit of over $3 Billion dollars. The Governor has also proposed the re-institution of tolls in Connecticut to pay for our increasing transportation needs.
