Newtown Man Accused Of Assaulting Police Officer: Newtown PD
The suspect is facing charges in connection with separate incidents, according to police.

NEWTOWN, CT — A 32-year-old Newtown man was arrested on warrants this week charging him with assaulting a police officer and disorderly conduct in connection with "a couple of violent incidents," according to Newtown Police Sgt. Jeff Silver.
Casey R. Prall, of Ardi Court, also was charged with interfering with an officer after police said he assaulted a police officer during a "crisis intervention." Additional details of the incident were not disclosed.
The disorderly conduct charge was in connection with an undisclosed domestic incident, Silver said.

Prall turned himself in at police headquarters on Tuesday and was held in lieu of bail of $60,000. He was scheduled to appear in Danbury Superior Court on Wednesday.
