The man refused to leave a bar and became combative with officers, police said.

NEWTOWN, CT — A Sandy Hook man was arrested after he refused to leave a bar and tried to grab an officer's gun, according to police.
Officers went to Cover Two Sports Cafe around 2:15 a.m. on a report of a patron who refused to leave the bar.
Christopher DeLuca, 35, didn't listen to employees or officers who asked him to leave. Eventually officers moved to escort DeLuca off the property and he became combative, said Lt. Aaron Bahamonde, police spokesman. DeLuca tried to grab an officer's gun during the struggle and was tazed and sprayed with pepper spray.
