WATCH: Newtown Mom Talks Gun Violence with Hillary Clinton at Rally

The presidential candidate asked Nicole Hockley to address the crowd.

The mother of one of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims joined presidential candidate Hillary Clinton at a rally Monday.

An article in the Danbury News Times said Nicole Hockley, mother of first-grader Dylan, appeared with Clinton at the event and was asked by the former secretary of state to address the crowd.

The article said the Democratic candidate was visibly emotional and asked Hockley to talk about what she and other parents are doing to prevent gun violence.
