Newtown Music Teacher Charged With Sexual Assault Of Juvenile: Police
It is the second time in less than 6 months that police have charged the Berkshire Road man with sexually assaulting a minor.

NEWTOWN, CT — Police have charged a Newtown music teacher with multiple sexual assault charges involving a juvenile.
The Newtown Police Department apprehended Richard Neal, 69, of Berkshire Road on Thursday, after Danbury Superior Court issued a warrant for his arrest.
Neal's arrest stemmed from an "investigation into an inappropriate relationship with an individual, who at the time was a juvenile," according to the investigating officer, Det. Chelsea Harold. He had been arrested in August on similar charges, after police say he engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a juvenile student to whom he gave private music lessons.
