NEWTOWN, CT — Below is a summary of Newtown Police arrests and other investigations from Dec. 29 to Jan. 6.

• Joshua Wright, 36, of Milford was charged with second-degree breach of peace and interfering with police after he punched an older man inside a vehicle in the Big Y parking lot Dec. 29, according to police.
• A van slid off the roadway and ended up on its roof on Dinglebrook Road Dec. 30 during slick road conditions. The operator sustained minor injuries and was issued a verbal warning for operating an unregistered vehicle and traveling too fast for conditions.
• Maroli Ortega-Gomez, 34, of New Milford was charged with DUI Jan. 6 after a traffic stop.
