NEWTOWN, CT — Below are some of the Newtown Police reports form Nov. 30 to Dec. 4.

  • Peter Selca, 36, of Danbury was charged with DUI after a traffic stop on Nov. 30.
  • A Newtown teen was injured in a crash on South Main Street Dec. 1 during snowy conditions. The teen said he accidently hit the gas pedal instead of the brake pedal and lost control before ending up down an embankment. He sustained a cut to his hand and complained of back pain.
  • A Brookfield man was taken to the hospital by ambulance after a two-car crash on Mt. Pleasant Road Dec. 3. Both vehicles sustained heavy front-end damage and the crash remains under investigation.
  • Police are seeking an SUV that was involved in a hit-and-run Dec. 4. The SUV, possibly a Honda CRV sideswiped another vehicle on Nunnawauk Road. The SUV likely has damage on the driver side with possible white paint transfer. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
