An officer on patrol Sept. 11 came across a residence with an open garage door and noticed that several vehicles in the driveway were unlocked and had their keys in them.
The officer notified the owner who secured the vehicles.

DUI Arrests
Mitchell Lobuglio, 26, of Newtown was charged with DUI and failure to display lights Sept. 9 after being pulled over on Main Street.
John Aurella, 58, of Newtown was charged with DUI and failure to drive in the proper lane Sept. 7 after being pulled over on South Main Street.
Four Car Fender Bender
Four cars sustained minor damage in a quadruple fender bender Sept. 4 on South Main Street. No injuries were reported and the operator of the offending vehicle was issued a ticket for following too close.
Car Stops For Animals, Gets Hit
A car slowed for animals in the roadway Sept. 6 on Church Hill Road and was struck by a vehicle that attempted to swerve out of the way, but didn't do so in time.
An operator was issued a verbal warning for following too close.
Crash Sends Two to the Hospital
Two car occupants were transported to the hospital after a crash on South Main Street Sept. 11. Both vehicles were damaged after one collided into the rear of the other. The crash remains under investigation.
Mailbox Destroyed In Hit-And-Run
A vehicle on Drummers Lane went over the curb and struck a mailbox Sept. 10. The box was then pulled along with its post and concrete base.
The vehicle then left the scene. The vehicle's description is unknown
