NEWTOWN, CT — The Newtown Police Department is currently seeking applications from both entry-level candidates as well as certified lateral transfers.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, be a U.S. citizen age 21 years or older, possess a valid Connecticut driver's license and have a clean record.

Starting salary is $62,855, and 87,316 after five years.
