Newtown Police Investigating Damage Outside Fire Substation

Police are seeking the public's assistance in their investigation of damage caused outside the Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue substation

NEWTOWN, CT — Police are seeking the public's assistance in their investigation of damage caused outside the Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue substation last week.

Police are reporting that a vehicle veered off the road and onto the substation property, knocking over a tree and resulting in damage to the lawn.

The incident occurred between May 31, and June 3. The substation is located on the corner of Nighthawk Lane and Berkshire Road.
