Newtown Police Investigating Two Stolen Snow Plows
There have been two reports of stolen snow plows within the past 10 days.

NEWTOWN, CT — Police in Newtown have received two reports of stolen snow plows within the past 10 days.
According to police, the first report involved a ride-on tractor with a plow attached to it, and the second involved and eight-foot snow plow. Below is a quick breakdown of the reports.
- Jan. 31: Police received a report of a stolen John Deer tractor and snow plow that was left a the end of a driveway on Tanglewood Lane. Police say the individual may have taken the items believing they had been left to be discarded. The plow and tractor had been left out on the road for a couple of weeks.

- Feb. 6: Police received a report of a 8-foot yellow Fisher Minutemount plow stolen from a parking lot on Dusty Lane. It was reported that the larceny could have occurred between Jan. 24 and Feb. 2.
