NEWTOWN, CT — It's not just cats that occasionally need rescuing from trees.
Newtown Police Officer Adam Greco rescued this distressed hawk on Friday. The bird of prey's leg was stuck in a tree, according to police on Facebook.
"Ofc. Greco says that by God's grace he was able to get the hawk down safely!," according to the social media post.
