Newtown Police Rescue Trapped Deer [VIDEO]

NEWTOWN, CT -- July's been a rough month, but we're giving you an opportunity to end it on a high, warm, note, courtesy of the Newtown police.

Last night Newtown's Finest came to the aid of a deer who had gotten one of its hind legs tangled in a fence. Grabbing riot gear and a whole lot of compassion, the cops were able to extricate Bambi before the animal hurt itself -- or them.
