Newtown Police Save Life of Man Found Unconscious in Vehicle
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man in his early twenties "slumped and unresponsive" in the vehicle.

NEWTOWN, CT — Police officers saved the life a man they found unconscious.
Police responded to a call Thursday evening around 10 p.m. about a car stopped at a stop sign for 20 minutes at the intersection of Cedar Hill Road and Bari Drive.
When officers arrived at the scene, the found a man in his early twenties "slumped and unresponsive" in the vehicle. The police suspected a possible drug overdose, and broke the vehicle’s window. They administered Narcan to the unresponsive man, saving his life, according to the police report.

The man was taken to the hospital for further evaluation.
The incident remains under investigation by the Newtown Police Department.
