Newtown Police Search For Suspect, Warn Of Heavy Police Presence

NEWTOWN, CT — Residents in parts of Newtown could see an increased police presence Monday as officers search for a suspect tied to a trespassing and larceny investigation, according to police.

Newtown police said the investigation is centered around the Misty Vale Road, Fawnwood, Jeremiah Road and Route 34 area.

Police described the suspect as approximately 5-foot-9 wearing an orange shirt and green pants.

Authorities said residents may notice a heavy police presence in the area while the investigation continues.
