Newtown Police Search For Vehicle Involved In A Robbery

The robbery occurred after midnight on Wednesday, according to police.

NEWTOWN, CT — Newtown police detectives are asking for the public's help in finding a vehicle that was involved in a robbery that occurred after midnight Wednesday, according to authorities.

Details of the robbery were not disclosed, but police said that it occurred in the Huntingtown Road area between midnight and 5 a.m.

"The vehicle is described as a champagne or gold colored 2 door sedan," Newtown police wrote in a Facebook post. "The vehicle was occupied by two individuals, a hispanic male with dark colored hair and a white male with red hair and a long red beard."
