The Newtown Police Department responded to a report of the theft shortly after 2 p.m. at Big Y on Queen Street on Oct. 27. Police say the women in the photo above is a suspect in the theft of approximately $250 of seafood. Anyone who can identify her is asked to contact Officer McCarthy at 203-426-5841.

REDDING CENTER, CT — A Redding tradition returns this fall as the First Church of Christ, Congregational welcomes the community to its 44th Annual Artisan Fair on Saturday, September 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
For more than four decades, the Artisan Fair has brought together neighbors, families, and visitors from across Fairfield County for a day filled with handcrafted artwork, delicious homemade food, live entertainment, shopping, children’s activities, and one of the area’s largest community tag sales. Best of all, admission is free.

Nearly 50 local and regional artisans will transform the church grounds into an outdoor marketplace featuring handcrafted jewelry, pottery, woodworking, fiber arts, photography, paintings, home décor, gourmet specialties, and much more.
