NEWTOWN, CT — Police have asked for the public's assistance in their investigation of a shoplifting incident last Thursday.

The Newtown Police Department responded to a report of the theft shortly after 2 p.m. at Big Y on Queen Street on Oct. 27.

Police say the women in the photo above is a suspect in the theft of approximately $250 of seafood.
