Newtown Police Warn Residents After Ice Chunk Cracks Windshield
Police say the incident occurred on Toddy Hill Road.

NEWTOWN, CT — You'll often see snow-covered cars driving around town after snow storms like the ones we had over the weekend, but those cars often pose a hazard to motorists, according to police.
The Newtown Police Department is urging residents to clean off their cars after an ice chunk severely cracked the windshield of a car driving on Toddy Hill Road.
The vehicle was traveling in an opposite direction when the chunk of ice flew off one vehicle and struck the other.
