Newtown Police's Newest Officer Has A Familiar Face

NEWTOWN, CT — The Newtown Police Department swore in its newest officer this week.

John Facto, a lifelong Newtown resident, previously served the town as a volunteer firefighter, and for six years as a dispatcher in the Emergency Communications Center.

Most recently, Facto has served as a police officer in Stratford, a job he has held for nearly a decade.
