Newtown Politicians Help Collect Funds for Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign
The event is the 124th annual Red Kettle Campaign which provides toys for kids, coats for the homeless, food for the hungry and more.
State Senator-elect Tony Hwang helped ring the Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign in Newtown on Saturday.
Along with state Rep. Mitch Bolinsky, state Rep.-elect J.P. Sredzinski and Anna Wiedemann, the group collected donations for the Salvation Army to benefit Newtown and local families.
This event is the 124th annual Red Kettle Campaign which provides toys for kids, coats for the homeless, food for the hungry and countless social service programs year-round.
