NEWTOWN, CT — Newtown has released its transfer station holiday hours and recycling pickup schedule for the holidays.

Transfer Station Hours

  • Christmas Eve & New Year’s Eve: 7am – 11am
  • Christmas Day & New Year’s Day: Closed

Recycling Holiday Schedule
  • Christmas Eve & New Year’s Eve: Regular pick up
  • Recycling normally picked up on Wednesday will be picked up on Thursday.
  • Recycling normally picked up on Thursday will be picked up on Friday.
  • Recycling normally picked up on Friday will be picked up on Saturday.
