Newtown Road Race Street Closures Announced
The 10th annual race will close roads. There are still spots available for the race.

The 10th Annual Newtown Road Race 5k and Newtown Prevention Council Kids Run will take place on Sept. 5.
Part of Route 302 will be closed from 7 to 10 a.m.. Other affected roads include: Elm Dr., Deep Brook Rd., Juniper Rd., Birch Rise Dr., Nettleton Ave., Baldwin Rd.
The race will begin at 8 a.m.

Spots are still Available! You can register on active.com or print out a registration form from our website! Race packet pick up will take place on September 4th at New Balance in Bethel from 9 am to 6 pm. Race day Registration will begin at 7:30 am. The course is a certified 5K USATF course rolling through scenic Newtown. T-Shirts will be given to the first 800 runners and the first 150 Kids Race participants.
