Newtown Seeks to Fill Vacancies on Boards, Commissions
The Commission on Aging and the Sustainable Energy Commission are just a couple of the groups with open positions.

NEWTOWN, CT —First Selectman Rosenthal is seeking residents to fill a vacancies and openings on the following boards and commissions:
The Hattertown Historic District has a position available to any registered voter. Candidate recommendations are due by Jan. 4, 2019.
The Commission on Aging has an alternate position available to any registered voter. Candidate recommendations are due by Jan. 4, 2019.

The Sustainable Energy Commission has a position available to a Republican voter. Candidate recommendations are due by Jan. 11, 2019
The Inland Wetlands Commission has a position available to any registered voter. Candidate recommendations are due by Jan. 11, 2019.

The Library Board of Trustees has a vacant position available to a Republican or an unaffiliated voter. Candidates with facilities management experience preferred. Candidate recommendations are due by Jan. 18, 2019.
