Newtown Seeks Residents To Fill Openings On Boards

NEWTOWN, CT — First Selectman Capeci is seeking residents to volunteer to fill vacancies on the following boards:

There is a vacancy on the Zoning Board of Appeals available to a registered Democrat. The last date to apply is August 9.

There are seats to fill on the Town Building & Infrastructure Committee. A new committee that has evolved from the Town Building Inventory and Planning Working Group will provide expertise, guidance and review regarding town buildings data and information infrastructure.

• Engineering or construction knowledge and experience with building mechanical, electrical, or structural systems.
• IT knowledge and experience such as data management (data architects, database administrators, and data analysts), business analysis, systems engineering, or document management.
• Large scale project management experience.

Any registered voter can apply. The last day to apply is July 31, 2024
