Newtown Seeks Residents To Fill Openings On Boards & Commissions

NEWTOWN, CT — First Selectman Rosenthal is seeking residents to volunteer to fill vacancies and openings on the following boards and commissions:

The Design Advisory Board has an alternate vacancy available to any registered voter. Resumes are due June 27. Any interested party can send a letter of interest and a resume to susan.marcinek@newtown-ct.gov

The Board of Education has a vacancy available to a Democrat. Interested parties can send a letter of interest and resume to zukowskid_boe@newtown.k12.ct.us or can drop it off at the Board of Education’s office at Newtown Municipal Center, 3 Primrose Street, in the care of Executive Secretary Kathy June.

There is a Republican vacancy for Justice of the Peace. Interested parties can contact Debbie Halstead, Town Clerk, at debbie.halstead@newtown-ct.gov
