Newtown Seeks Residents To Fill Openings On Boards & Commissions

NEWTOWN, CT — First Selectman Rosenthal is seeking residents to volunteer to fill vacancies and openings on the following boards and commissions:

The Bike & Trails Committee has a vacant position available to a Democrat or an unaffiliated voter. Resumes due by Feb. 10.

The Commission on Aging has an alternate position available to an unaffiliated or Republican voter. Resumes due by Feb. 13.

The C.H. Booth Library has a vacant position available to a Republican or an unaffiliated voter. Resumes are due by Feb. 13.

The Water & Sewer Authority has an open position available to any registered voter.

Any interested party can send a letter of interest and a resume to susan.marcinek@newtown-ct.gov
