Newtown Seeks Residents To Fill Openings On Boards & Commissions

NEWTOWN, CT — First Selectman Rosenthal is seeking residents to volunteer to fill vacancies and openings on the following boards and commissions:

• The Bike & Trails Committee has a vacant position available to a Democrat or an unaffiliated voter. Resumes due by February 10.
• The Commission on Aging has an alternate position available to an unaffiliated or Republican voter. Resumes due by February 13.
• The C.H. Booth Library has a vacant position available to a Republican or an unaffiliated voter. Resumes are due by February 13.
• The Lake Zoar Authority has a vacant position available to an unaffiliated or Republican voter. Resumes are due by March 2.
• The Water & Sewer Authority has an open position available to any registered voter.

Any interested resident may send a letter of interest and a resume to susan.marcinek@newtown-ct.gov
