Newtown Seeks Residents To Fill Openings On Boards & Commissions

NEWTOWN, CT — First Selectman Capeci is seeking residents to volunteer to fill a vacancy on the following boards and commissions:

• There are two alternate positions available on the Board of Ethics, one to a Republican or unaffiliated voter and one to a Democrat or unaffiliated voter. The last day to apply is Dec. 29, by noon.
• There is an open seat on the Inland Wetlands Commission available to any registered voter. The last day to apply is Dec. 29, by noon.
• There is an open seat on the Newtown Community Center Commission open to any registered voter. The last day to apply is Dec. 29, by noon.
