Newtown Seeks Residents To Fill Openings On Committees & Commissions

NEWTOWN, CT — First Selectman Rosenthal is seeking residents to volunteer to fill an opening on the following committees and commissions:

The Fairfield Hills Authority and the Bike & Trail Committee each have a vacant position available to any registered voter. The last day to apply is August 25.

Five volunteers are needed to form the Fair Rent Commission. Ideally, at least one member would be a landlord and another a tenant. The first applicants will be considered as the commission will be formed soon.
