Newtown's Edmond Town Hall Theatre Names New Title Sponsor
Connie Widmann of Connie Widmann & Team has been named the Title Sponsor for the 2022 Spring Concert Series.
NEWTOWN, CT — Edmond Town Hall Theatre in Newtown has named Connie Widmann of Connie Widmann & Team as the Title Sponsor for the 2022 Spring Concert Series, the historic theater and movie house announced Thursday.
"I am excited to sponsor the spring series," Widmann said in a statement. "The arts and music are so important to me and the growth of ETH!! We are so lucky to have a venue like ETH and just love the amazing music that is being brought to Newtown."
The series will include live performances from the Stella Blues Band, Back to the Garden 1969, and Sugar Mountain with a tribute of music from the Grateful Dead, Woodstock, and Neil Young. The series kicks-off on Saturday, March 19 and wraps up on Friday, May 13.

"We had such an exciting and successful show when the Stella Blues Band first performed on our stage in February 2020 and we are thrilled to welcome them back!" said Edmond Town Hall Chair, Jennifer Guman said.
Located at 45 Main St. in Newtown, Edmond Town Hall was completed in 1931 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was a gift from Newtown benefactor Mary Elizabeth Hawley.

The venue has served as the center of the community and the heart of Newtown since its inception by providing generations of residents and neighbors with governmental services space; affordable family entertainment through its proscenium theater; sports opportunities in its gymnasium; and, elegant space in its Alexandria banquet hall for gatherings, fundraisers, civic events or to celebrate life events.
The Edmond Town Hall Board of Managers is a group of electors responsible for the planning and oversight of the iconic building.
