Nouveau Monde Wine Bar and Bistro to Open in Sandy Hook Village

A new wine bar is coming to Sandy Hook Village just i time for the holidays, according to Newtown’s Economic Development Commission.

Nouveau Monde Wine Bar & Bistro will open at 6 Washington Avenue, Sandy Hook Village, right next to Sabrina Style.

“The beautiful construction at 6 Washington Ave. will be home to a two-story wine bar and bistro. Nouveau Monde will present both Old World and New World wines, an eclectic menu of small and large plates in “tapas” style in a cozy, comfortable atmosphere. The menu selection will carry various international flavors which pair nicely with their wines and beer selection,” the Newtown EDC said in their newsletter.

Towne said on his LinkedIn profile, “The next step in my journey, taking my technology experience and marrying that with my passion for food, wine, music and art!”
