Nurse's Assistant Bilked Elderly Clients: Newtown Police
Police have charged a certified nurse's assistant with larceny after they say she cheated some of her elderly clients.
NEWTOWN, CT — Police have charged a woman with larceny after they say she cheated some of her elderly clients.
The Newtown Police Department apprehended Dominga Bush, 54, on Friday, following a 5-month investigation.
Police said they began their investigation of Bush following allegations she misappropriated money from the banking accounts of elderly clients while working for them as a certified nurse's assistant.

Bush was charged with first-degree larceny and third-degree forgery. She was released after posting a $50 surety, and is scheduled to appear in Danbury Superior Court on July 19.
The Newtown PD in encouraging residents to audit the bank accounts of elderly family members "to try and catch this type of theft as early as possible."
